With extensive experience in study abroad management and process automation, Nelson will oversee the strategic evolution of Terra Dotta’s Study Abroad platform to meet the changing needs of modern education offices.

Bringing over a decade of experience in international higher education, Nelson has worked in various roles, including as a study abroad office leader, private education abroad consultant, data analyst, and faculty-directed program coordinator. His expertise in technology-driven decision-making and operational performance will be instrumental in shaping Terra Dotta’s future product roadmap.
Previously, Nelson served as the Director of Faculty-Led Study Abroad at the University of Kentucky. He has also been an active participant in Terra Dotta’s SuperUser and community groups, where he developed custom-coded solutions that improved platform functionality. These innovations will now be integrated into Terra Dotta’s long-term development strategy.
